Strategic Planning & Program Design
Every mission needs a roadmap. I partner with mission-driven organizations to create inspiring and actionable plans and programs that are grounded in community wisdom, aligned with your mission, and designed for lasting impact.
My approach is participatory, inclusive, and energizing. Whether you’re charting long-term goals, designing a new initiative, or strengthening existing programs, I will help you move from big vision to actionable steps that strengthen your capacity for change.
Strategic Planning
Strategic planning is more than a document—it’s a process that unites people around purpose. Through collaborative planning processes, I help organizations:
Clarify vision, values, and priorities
Set bold yet achievable goals
Align with organizational strengths, resources, and partnerships
Develop actionable plans for measurable impact
I draw on proven tools such as Theory of Change, logic models, and strategic frameworks to ensure your plan is both visionary and practical. The result: a roadmap your team and stakeholders believe in—one that communicates purpose, strengthens trust, and drives measurable impact.

Transforming Narratives of Gun Violence Strategic Plan
MGH Gun Violence Prevention Center, BU Center for Media Innovation and Social Impact, 2025
Launched in 2021 at the Engagement Lab, Transforming Narratives of Gun Violence (TNGV) is entering a new phase, expanding its reach beyond the walls of any one institution. This next phase requires thoughtful planning with a diverse team of partners. Engagement Lab at Emerson College, Community-Led Solutions, 2023
Working collaboratively with Community-Led Solutions, we engaged staff and stakeholders to design a new Theory of Change to reflect the evolving mission and activities of the Engagement Lab.
District 4 Strategic Engagement Plan
Boston City Councilor Andrea Campbell, 2017-2018
With a desire to go beyond traditional constituent engagement, City Councilor Andrea Campbell contracted me to create a creative, impact-driven, and measurable strategic engagement plan for District 4. Working closely with the Councilor’s staff team and key stakeholders, I utilized the public participation spectrum to design strategies to grow and deepen resident engagement, define metrics for success, and develop new pathways for resident engagement and leadership.
Program Design
Programs are where your vision comes to life, where strategies are activated, and where transformation happens. And it all begins with how your programs are designed. I work with organizations to design initiatives that:
Build on community strengths and aspirations, respond to community needs, and amplify community voices
Translate strategy into real-world outcomes
Integrate equity and social justice
Incorporate evaluation frameworks that measure progress and adapt over time
Set your team up for successful implementation and ongoing iteration
I utilize participatory methods and asset-based frameworks, integrating evidence-based practice, community wisdom, and innovative ideas to design impact-driven programs. The result: programs that are grounded, creative, and powerful enough to achieve the change you desire.

Violence Intervention & Prevention Logic Model
The Boston Project Ministries, 2025
As a new grantee of the Boston Public Health Commission’s Violence Intervention & Prevention (VIP) program, The Boston Project Ministries desired to create a program model that both reflected their longstanding organizational strengths and unearthed new creative approaches. I created a comprehensive logic model that defines their key strategies and shows how their trust-based approach leads to community transformation.
Environmental Justice Community Impact Fellowship
Boston University Center on Media Innovation and Social Impact, 2025
With a grant from the Mellon Foundation, the newly launched Center on Media Innovation and Social Impacted contracted me to design a new fellowship program for community-based advocates, artists, and visionaries to explore storytelling as a mechanism for advancing environmental justice. The Environmental Justice Community Impact Fellowship attracted nearly 40 applicants for its inaugural year and kicks off with 7 fellows in Fall 2025.
Transforming Narratives for Environmental Justice
Engagement Lab at Emerson College, 2023-2024
While working as the Associate Director of the Engagement Lab at Emerson College, I co-designed and launched this initiative to enable collaborative creation between students and community partners to advance environmental and climate justice. It was a robust initiative with committed faculty, students, and partners, including GreenRoots, Speak for the Trees, Fairmount Indigo CDC Collaborative, and more. In two years, the initiative produced a dozen co-created art/media projects.
